I had the pleasure of working with Mister Swallow for two years! His refined technique helped me substantially to reach an unprecedented sonic level on stage managing to translate it all around the world and in any situation, even in the most difficult ones! In addition to this, he’s a human being of great patience and loyalty, with a ready smile...quality to be reckoned while you're on a long world tour!

Dave stepped in for us last minute to do sound for an important Glastonbury show that was being broadcast by the BBC, he made our artist feel comfortable and the show sounded fantastic – we were all delighted. He’s an asset to any touring party large or small

Dave's teaching has always been special. In contrast to many others he's not presenting simple solutions or answers but teaches you to ask yourself the why as well as the how. Critical thinking is central when you're working with him and you learn a lot by questioning yourself as well as everything you encounter along the way. It may be the harder road to walk, but the results are totally worth it.
I honestly continue to wonder why a book that's under 250 pages can sell for retail $39.95 US, but in this case, that is no matter, because the wealth of experience and information that Dave Swallow brings you is well worth it. An above average index, by the way, will take you right to where you want to be to find the answers to your questions.
Brilliant! Full Marks!
So I was very pleased to read this book. It does what it says it will, it covers vital areas that aren't obvious to outsiders, and hopefully it will make musicians a little more sympathetic to the sound staff in general.
